116 hours nonstop class
How many days are there actually in 116 hours? Will any students and listeners be attending at all? Can we draw attention to the aims of our new YMCA university with this action? What does the number 116 signify? Who will give a lecture and where? What does Kassel have to do with it? Will we manage it? Can we also raise some money for the new university? Isn’t it just a crazy idea?
We look for people who contribute to the 116 hours.
The first professors, artists, trainers, musicians, already confirmed to take on one of the lectures – with others we are still in contact: athletes, bands, politicians, entrepreneurs. Until March we will arrange a program which will offer excellent 116 hours.
It’s all about pioneer spirit and a new attitude to the service for people.
Beside participants we also look for unusual locations: within the train station or a church, a restaurant, a factory building or a shopping mall - we will leave the university premises, because education is a duty of the whole society and should be backed by everybody.
